Teaching Updates

A couple of additions and one change to my public teaching schedule this week:

Wednesday: Yoga Sutra Open Vinyasa 7:30 p.m. (90 minutes)
Open level vinyasa class for everyone. (Yoga Sutra NYC, 501 Fifth Ave)

Thursday: Yoga for the Young at Heart (Age 65+), 12:45 p.m. (60 minutes)
Yoga for women age 65 and older. Please note: we will be practicing seated on chairs. The focus will be on breath and gentle stretches, strengthing the lungs and the spine from the inside out. Class will close with a brief meditation. (Hadassah of Manhattan, 50 West 58th Street)

Thursday: Yoga for Breast Cancer Survivors 7:00-8:15 p.m. (75 minutes)
Preregistration is not necessary, and class is on a drop-in basis. Strictly speaking, it is for breast cancer survivors, but we do have some students who are friends or family of breast cancer survivors or who are dealing with other illnesses and conditions). (Yoga Sutra NYC, 501 Fifth Ave) Note: CLASS IS NO LONGER ON TUESDAY EVENINGS.

Sunday: Yoga for Hope - Yoga to Benefit Hurricane Katrina Relief 6-7:30 p.m.
See Yoga For Hope for more information. (Yoga Sutra NYC, 501 Fifth Ave)

About Me

My photo
Northern Westchester, New York, United States
I live by a duck pond. I used to live by the East River. I don't work. I used to work a lot. Now, not so much. I used to teach a lot of yoga. Now not so much. I still practice a lot of yoga though. A LOT. I love my kids, being outdoors, taking photos, reading magazines, writing and stirring the pot. Enjoy responsibly.
