Pigs fly

When Sir said, "Take D", I thought I was hallucinating.

We shared a laugh as my hand kept slipping off my wrist. "See? I told you it would seem easy after getting through the last one," he said.

Both sides bound, I jumped through (sort of) and heard, "Now Navasana."

I am thrilled to be delving into these two postures!!! Navasana, itself is not challenging, but the Lolasanas in between are going to be a long time coming.

So, as it turns out, I was feeling the tension because I knew it was time.

Congratulations!

Traditional Ashtanga can be enormously frustrating (as can be seen by reading your blog - you are not alone), but you have to admit that it also has its good points!

I love the picture of the hippy lady in her tights. Thank God yoga fashion has changed!

I live by a duck pond. I used to live by the East River. I don't work. I used to work a lot. Now, not so much. I used to teach a lot of yoga. Now not so much. I still practice a lot of yoga though. A LOT. I love my kids, being outdoors, taking photos, reading magazines, writing and stirring the pot. Enjoy responsibly.
