Just when I think I'm out...they pull me back in...
Just when I think I'm going to drop this blogging thing for good (for the greater good, in fact, some might say), I get an invitation to become a blogger for the Huffington Post. THAT Huffington Post. Seriously. I'll be in the Living section. Lending my voice to spirituality discussions. Or some such.
I thought I was being punked.
And after perusing the other bloggers' bios, I still kind of wonder. See, here's what I found: real writers, people who write for a living and get paid for it. People who've won awards for their writings. And Rabbi Shmuely Boteach, of all people.
And then there's me: obsessive naval gazer with a laptop.
Kind of exciting though.
Now, what to say?

Is this one of those things where you're pulling our collective leg? If not, VERY NICE.
Seriously. I am pretty excited! Working on a first post now. But need to get a headshot before I can be published. The one on my blog is way too old.
Way to go, YC. You are a terrific writer. You Mom must be very proud of you!
Obviously, you Mom does not have the same writing ability. :)
That is amazing, Lauren! Congratulations!
wow! Congratulations!
That's cool news but when have you written about spiritual stuff? Shouldn't they put you in a section where you can obsess about stuff?
I think yoga is supposed to be spiritual - obsessiveness is the manifestation of YC's intense spirituality. She is very soul-full. So here's to naval gazing.
To think that Daughter Number 1 will be blogging in the big league and Daughter Number 2 will be featured in Redbook's August issue.
I am in qvelling heaven. I am obsessing and over-commenting.
It's funny, Carl. They read my blog, and asked me to blog on spirituality, under the assumption that...I already DO.
Perhaps we all have set the spirituality bar higher than the average bear?
Well... I'll be reading.
